A qualitative analysis of the dialogue from the 177 interviews identified common themes regarding women and children with disabilities. The analysis consisted of at least two trained researchers reviewing the interview notes. The analysis further showed that these themes were similar, even among disparate countries. Examples included few educational options, limited physical accessibility of the environment, lack of resources providing family support, and poor quality health care.
