This report aims to provide an accurate national measure of the numbers of students with disabilities in higher education, to identify where and in what academic field they are studying, and to give an insight of their progress from one academic year to another. This work supports AHEAD’s strategic objective (2015) to influence national policy on the inclusion of students with disabilities in higher education by providing a snapshot of the participation rates of this cohort and making recommendations based on emerging trends.
