وضعت أساليب العمل هذه، التي تخضع للاستعراض الدوري، لتوجّه عمل اللجنة المعنية بحقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة وتكمّل النظام الداخلي للجنة، وتجسد أساليب العمل هذه المبادئ العامة الثمانية التي ترتكز عليها الاتفاقية المتعلقة بحقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.

These working methods, which are subject to periodic review, have been developed to guide the work of the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and complement the Committee's rules of procedure. These working methods reflect the eight general principles underpinning the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
