In the preparation of the study, consultations were held with the Special Rapporteur on violence against women, its causes and consequences, the Special Rapporteur on disability of the Commission for Social Development of the Economic and Social Council the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women and the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
