The Internationa lclassification of Impairments, Disabilities. and Handicaps (ICIDH), developed in the 1970s, was issued by the World Health Organization in 1980 as a tool fo the classification of the consequences of disease as well as of injuries and other disorders and of their implications for the lives of individuals.
