This report discusses social media engagement by perople with disabilities , who engage in social media activities to fulfill social ,emotional as ell as cognitive needs.The role of social media in the disabilty community is critical,  given that rights agencies maximize the effects of their social media campaigns for their outreach and advocacy mission.  Understanding patterns of social media use inthe disabilty community, which includes: People with disabilities, their families, caregivrs and care professionals , can provide executive leadership and communication teams with actionable insights.
