This manual is designed to augment parents and teachers’ understanding of the rights of people with disabilities and the concept of inclusive education. The detailed notes  help the teachers, parents and volunteers to understand the characteristics of children with disabilities, their development/ learning needs and how to support them in school and at home. It  also fosters more positive relationships between teachers and pupils, between teachers and parents, between parents and pupils and between pupils and pupils.
